Malice XXV last weekend in Bethesda was everything a Silver Anniversary should be, a
celebration of past, present, and future. Many high points, especially the chance to do
the Amelia Award interview with honoree Carolyn Hart. The banquet speeches were
stellar. Here I am with my Jersey hometown friend, Harlan Coben
.

New Jersey natives Roberta Isleib, Katherine, and Harlan Coben. Roberta just moderated
Katherine's panel with Linda Barnes, Peter Abrahams, and Susan Conant — one of the best
moderators Katherine has ever had. Then it was time to greet Guest of Honor Harlan, like
Katherine, a graduate of Livingston High School (Jersey rules!)

ALA Conference
ALA Katherine enjoyed meeting librarians from all over. Take a look at Boston's new convention center. What was not to like about all those books?

And here she is with her dear friends, Virginia Stanley, Director of HarperCollins Library Marketing, and Bobby M. Brinson, HarperCollins Senior Manager, Academic and Library Marketing.

Plus what a pleasure to meet HC's terrific Kayleigh George.

Check out HC's Marilyn Johnson's new book, This Book is Overdue!: How Librarians and Cybrarians Can Save Us All
